 Betsy Williamson, Pastor
Betsy became pastor at Amity on September 1, 2010.  She is a native Charlottean, who graduated from East Mecklenburg High School and grew up at Westminster Presbyterian Church.  Betsy's first career was in public school education.  She is a graduate of Appalachian State University.  She began her career as a high school Spanish teacher in Durham and Union counties.  After 8 years of teaching, she moved to the central office of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, where she worked in a variety of roles until her retirement.  Betsy received her Master of Divinity in 2000 from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.  She previously served as associate pastor of Quail Hollow Presbyterian Church and is presently co-moderator of the Presbytery's Committee on Ministry.

Addie Yandle, Organist
Addie began playing the organ and piano for Amity in 1991.  She works with the Music Director and the Pastor to coordinate the music for all events at the church.  She also substitutes for the Music Director when needed.

Karen Nivens, Financial Assistant
Karen is a Charlotte native and is the newest member of our staff. She handles the bookkeeping, financial and other miscellaneous duties for the church and preschool.

Adrian Boyd, Church Secretary
Adrian began working at Amity in March, 2009.  She works closely with the Pastor, prepares the weekly worship bulletins and CDs, publishes The Ambassador newsletter and various other duties.  She previously worked at The Charlotte Observer for 18 years. Adrian is a member of Sardis Presbyterian Church, where she has served as deacon and elder.

Doug Hughes, Director of Music

Doug began working at Amity as Temporary Director of Music in April, 2010.  In January, 2011, he accepted the position as Director of Music.
